This cantilever comes with a magnetic base. Why a magnetic base you ask? When you install a railroad crossing cantilever it sits SOOO close to the track. We know that cleaning our track is a must! So we made a magnetic base for you to install. This gives you the option to move it and not break it when cleaning track! Plus if someone comes along and gets to close and hits it. It will break away safely and all you have to do is place it back on the base!
